Two children reading c.1919 by Ida Rentoul Outhwaite, an Australian illustrator of children's books. The artist first published her work in 1904 at the age of 15 alongside a story written by her older sister. Her work, mainly with pen and ink, or watercolour, predominantly depicts fairies.
