Balloons, Happy Birthday bunting and a strawberry cake with candles, and our grumpy frog still looks less than impressed. This funny birthday card is a contemporary take on a Japanese woodblock print from 1814, made for anyone who likes their birthday wishes with a dry sense of humour.
In Japanese, the word for frog is kaeru, which also means “to return”, so frogs are a symbol of good luck and good things coming back. Part of our Ezen Frog collection, it is a funny and lucky card for a friend, partner or colleague.
