In his nightcap and nightgown, clutching a red book, our grumpy frog makes the perfect Ebenezer Scrooge. Inspired by Charles Dickens’s A Christmas Carol and a Japanese woodblock print from 1814, this funny Scrooge Christmas card is ideal for book lovers, Dickens fans and anyone who knows a real-life Scrooge.
In Japanese, the word for frog is kaeru, which also means “to return”, so frogs are a symbol of good luck and good things coming back. A festive favourite from our Ezen Frog collection.
