HIROSAKI CASTLE

Back in 1715, the Tsugaru clan brought cherry trees from Kyoto and planted them in the grounds of Hirosaki Castle, Aomori Prefecture. Near the end of April every year, the castle becomes surrounded by the vibrant yet delicate pink petals and blossoms of 2,600 cherry trees.
