APPLE HARVEST (1888)

After moving to Eragny-sur-Epte, Pissarro’s works took on the subject of the French countryside of Normandy and the rhythm of the seasons. A year after moving, he met Seurat and Signac, who influenced Pissarro to paint adopting the pointillist method using tiny dots.
