YELLOW MORNING FLOWER (1897)

The morning glory flower was first discovered in China for its medicinal uses and was later introduced to the Japanese who were the first to cultivate it as an ornamental flower. The flower symbolises wilful promises. By French artist and decorator Maurice Pillard Verneuil (1869-1942).
