MANJUSHRI ON TSAKLI CARD (EARLY 15TH C.)

The Tibetan tsakli card portrays a manifestation of Manjushri. A card that belongs to a small sets of paintings (usually anything from 6 to 100) used for rituals in initiations, offerings in temples, training of the Buddhist monks as well as to remove evil influences from a sick person.
