PATENT OF BEER PUMP (1886)

The oldest brewery is believed to be Weihenstephan in Freising, Germany, where their licensing history goes back to 1040 AD. They have continued brewing ever since. There is also evidence of a hop garden located on the land, which may take the date as far back as 768 AD.
