The beauty in the print is a geisha from the Kansei era (1789-1801) who can be seen with a look of contentment. The caption reads “shidaranasaso” which indicates being relaxed in a rather unbecoming, but rather suggestive manner. From the series, 32 Aspects of Customs and Manners by the woodblock print master Yoshitoshi (1839-1892).
