GREEK AND ROMAN GODDESS EZEN FROG

A contemporary Athena and Minerva adaptation of a Japanese woodblock print dating 1814. The Japanese word for frog is “kaeru”, which can also mean “to return”, so the frog is considered to bring good luck, representing good things returning.
