MINTON TILES BIRDS AND FLOWERS (LATE 19TH C.)

The design comes from tiles made by Minton Hollins in the late 19th century. Produced during the Aesthetic Movement in Britain, the ‘cult of beauty’ aimed to move away from the ugliness of the Industrial Age bringing beauty into the domestic world.
