COOL CAT

Cool cat is an expression defining someone stylish and admirable. In the 1920s, the world of jazz gave us the use of the word “cat” referring to a cool person, stemming most likely for the adoration of a jazz musician, said to possess qualities similar to a cat - quick on his feet, resourceful, languid, slightly aloof and totally cool.
