PATENT OF EYEGLASSES (1908)

Wearable glasses fist appeared in Italy during the 13th century and they were mainly used by monks. As technology improved, glasses became more popular, however it was only after the industrial revolution (17th century) that they became mass produced and accessible to the working class.
