A single poppy can produce up to 60,000 seeds, which extrapolates to hundreds of millions of seeds in a field. “Daisy” comes from the Old English version of "day's eye”, referring to the fact that they open their petals at the beginning of each day. Daisies are associated with innocence and purity.
