Koinobori, meaning Ôcarp streamerÕ, are carp-shaped windsocks traditionally flown in Japan to celebrate the ChildrenÕs Day. The artist Hiroshige is one of the greatest artists, known to have influenced western impressionists such as Van Gogh and Monet.
