ABOUT THE ARTIST

Yosai Nobukazu was a woodblock print artist active at the end of the 19th century. His prints include a variety of subjects such as beauties, famous views of Japan. He was a student of Yoshu Chikanobu, whose style influenced his beauty triptychs.
